Method of Evaluation

    Instructor assessments of written assignments including reports, essays, critiques, and/or exhibition reviews that demonstrate student's ability to identify and apply critical theory to contemporary photography.

    Instructor assessments of projects that demonstrate student's ability to apply photography concepts and digital imaging techniques to produce a portfolio of original and professional images.

    Instructor assessments of written or oral critiques that demonstrate the student's understanding of digital photography projects.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

The students will be able to apply creative and technical skills to their original photographs using digital photography software for image editing, including: basic tonal adjustments, retouching and special effects
The students will produce a professional digital photography portfolio.
